- Bring the lentils to a boil with a little water and cook until they are 'al dente'.
- In another pan, fry the onion and sausage in olive oil until the onion is dark, this will bring color to the dish.
- Add the rice, beef broth cubes, hot water, reserved lentils, pepper, and cook until the rice is fully cooked.
- When done, place it in a serving dish of your choice, sprinkle with parsley, and serve.
